Beginner Packages
Our progressive curriculum focuses on the basic skills you need to get down the mountain safely, at your own pace. Featuring Rossignol development ski and snowboard equipment, the EZ 1-2-3 ski and board packages include three days of instruction, equipment rentals and lift tickets (two beginner lift tickets and one all-mountain lift ticket). Sign up for the EZ 1-2-3 package and start having fun on the slopes.

Coca-Cola First Trax
Jump-start your snowsports career with this one-day comprehensive beginner program. It's perfect for those new to skiing or riding who want to progress quickly into one of our more advanced Custom Groups. This is a single-day, all-inclusive package that provides a beginner lift ticket, ski or board lesson and Rossignol rental equipment.

The Logical Next Step
You've collected all the basics, now it's time to put it all together. Custom Group programs make personalized instruction affordable. By having flexible start times and limiting our group size to just three people, you're guaranteed to get the input you need. Whether it's power in the steeps or more confidence on the blue runs, we're here for you.

The Funatics
For savvy youngsters who dream, breathe and think snow. This eight-week program catapults enthusiastic skiers into awesome athletes. Funatics is perfect for local area skiers who want to meet other aspiring ski heroes while discovering all that Schweitzer Mountain has to offer. This popular program has limited enrollment so make sure to sign up well in advance. Price includes Nastar racing privileges but not lift ticket or equipment rentals.

Freeride Institute
Learn to ride big-mountain and terrain-park style with some of today's “Top Dogs” of extreme riding. This three-day institute features a ride-in/ride-out "media tent" so that you can evaluate your jumps, spins and runs in real time. Participants must be at least 10 years old and have intermediate or advanced skiing or boarding skills.
